The Club de Soleil (like so many &#8216;classy&#8217; resorts in the USA), has a crap WiFi arrangement. Cheap motels have fast (and often, free) WiFi, but the plush resorts have very limited facilities. And they cannot understand why anyone requires access to the Internet. They can&#8217;t understand my accent, either. Nil point there, resort concierge ladies!<\/p>\n<p>So I am sitting here, in my car, because the only place they have WiFi is in the lounge. Which is closed. So I am parked outside their window. Fortunately, I am booked into a cheap motel before our flight home. I need the WiFi to book in my return flight.<\/p>\n<p>US technology is somewhere behind Ethiopia. And some of the people we met on our trip, belong in caves. Thankfully, most US people are great. Unfortunately, not all &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Next time, I might take my iPad to an IHOP. They have free WiFi as you eat. Civilisation.<\/p>\n<p>Will be posting more blogs soon.
