Browsing someone else’s bookshelves is fun. Lots of interesting finds. I may even get around to reading one or two titles, not on my usual reading list.
As you may note, a majority of the books are Science Fiction, and a famous Science Fiction author, Theodore Sturgeon was once challenged by the statement …
“Surely,you can’t possibly deny. 90% of Sci-Fi is trash!”
Theodore Sturgeon unhesitatingly agreed with this opinion, then added …
“But then, it can be said. 90% of EVERYTHING is trash.”
This became known as Sturgeon’s Law.
And finding the other 10% that’s in here, is a quest to relished.
Book count now 1016 …
… AND all the silly database errors have been corrected. The covers and write-ups were downloaded from various sites (Amazon et al.) and contained some really weird junk in the sub-title section. Also, so many books had the publishers name stuck in after the title (they have their own section).
